At Joshibi University of Art and Design, a programme to invite female artists around the world and support their creative activity, which is called “JOSHIBI Artist in Residence (AIR)“, has been carried out since 2022.
This year (Sep.~Dec.), we have invited Marlene Lahmer (Austria) and Hanako MIYAMOTO (a graduate of Joshibi Graduate School of Art and Design) and supported their creation and research activities.
From the 26th to the 28th, we are holding “Open Studio” and exhibiting the processes of their research activities.
On the 27th, a performance by Marlene Lahmer and a reception event will be also held.
