Completion Ceremony for New Studio of Deartment of Collaborative Design
Joshibi University of Art and Design had constructed the new 1st building for the Department of Collaborative Design which will be scheduled to open in April 2023 at Suginami Campus. This time, the construction has been completed, and Completion Ceremony was held on 6th December. In this ceremony, the people involved and President, School President, professors, and staff from Joshibi participated. After the solemn ritual, a private viewing of the building was held.
The new building of the Department of Collaborative Design is a symbol for students to be collaborative leaders who create new value with people from diverse fields.
On the 1st floor and ground floor, there will be movable tables, movable whiteboards, and a specific studio for prototyping named FAB. In the space with a high degree of freedom that is adjustable to various projects, facing questions, students will be able to refine the projects. In the private viewing of the building, Prof. Hiroko Matsumoto, who is the Department chair and has responsibility for the Studio explained how much she cared about the classroom to improve the educational level. In future, in preparation for new students from April, we plan to bring in interior fixtures and furniture to make the school building more fulfilling.
With the establishment of this new school building, Joshibi aims to spread new ideas and values from the new base, enhance design education, and contribute broadly to society.
共创设计学科教学楼落成仪式
我校共创设计学科将于2023年4月起开始教学，作为新教学楼的杉并校区1号馆的扩建工程也在顺利进行。新教学楼现圆满落成，12月6日举办了落成典礼，理事长、校长、教职员工以及相关人员出席了该典礼和教学楼预览会。
共创设计学科的新教学楼象征着该学科目标的“共同创造型引领者”，旨在与校内不同领域的人群共同创造新型价值。
主楼由地上2层和地下1层构成，配备可移动桌、教学白板和原型设计“FAB工作室”，为师生提供高度自由的使用空间。在教学楼预览会上，松本博子共创设计学科长介绍了为提高教育效果而进行的对教室功能、照明和室内设计的优化。今后将逐步增加内部装置和器具，充实校舍内部，为迎接明年4月的新生做准备。
伴随新校舍的落成，我校将从新据点向社会传递新型思想和价值观，并在加强设计教育的同时为社会做出广泛贡献。
공동창조 디자인학과 준공식
본교에서는 2023년 4월 개설되는 공동창조 디자인학과의 신축 건물인 1호관 증축동(스기나미 캠퍼스)의 건설을 진행하였습니다. 이번에 건물이 완공되어 12월 6일 준공식을 거행하였습니다. 준공식은 관계자분들, 본교 이사장, 학장, 교직원들이 참석한 가운데 엄숙히 진행되었으며 이어서 건물 내람회도 진행되었습니다.
공동창조 디자인학과 신교사는 본교의 다양한 영역의 사람들과 함께 새로운 가치를 창조하는 ‘공동창조형 리더’를 지향하는 본 학과의 상징적 건물입니다.
지상 2층, 지하 1층의 본 건물에는 가동식 테이블과 화이트 보드, 프로토타이핑에 특화한 공방 「FAB 룸」을 설치하였습니다. 다양한 프로젝트에 맞추어 활동을 실시할 수 있는 자유도가 높은 공간에서, 궁금한 점에 대해 차분히 마주하면서 프로젝트를 연마할 수 있는 장소가 될 것입니다. 내람회에서는 「공동창조 스튜디오」 등 토탈 프로듀싱을 담당한 마츠모토 히로코 공동창조 디자인 학과장이 교육 효과를 높이는 교실의 기능·조명·내장과 관련, 역점을 둔 포인트에 관해 설명하는 자리가 마련되었습니다. 앞으로 4월부터 맞이하게 될 신입생을 위해서 내장 집기 및 가구 반입을 진행중에 있으며 점점 더 완벽한 모습으로 변화하고 있습니다.
본교는 이번 신교사 설립을 통해, 새로운 거점을 기반으로 한 참신한 아이디어 및 가치를 사회에 발신함으로써 디자인 교육의 충실 및 폭넓은 사회공헌을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
